BBM's Contribution to Sustainability

  • The environmental awareness of the staff is increased through regular training every year.
  • The "Environmental Permit on Air Emission," which was approved by the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, remains valid until 13.04.2028.
  • Emission measurements of four chimneys in our facility are completed within the legal periods and emission pollutant factors are controlled. All parameters remain below the legislation limit values.
  • The resulting vegetable waste oils are sent to licensed enterprises and contribute to the formation of biodiesel.
  • There are continual improvement targets for cleaner production technologies. There is an environmental approval process for equipment, investment, and other items to be purchased in line with these studies. All environmental practices are taken into consideration before investment, and during and after the commissioning phase.
  • The senior management is informed about the changing legislation and the changes affecting the facility are adapted by obtaining the approval of the senior management.
  • In the environmental harmonization process, taking feasible measures to prevent environmental pollution is always prioritized.
  • As a result of our activities, efforts are being made to reduce the use of natural resources.
  • Monthly environmental reports and internal audit reports are prepared and shared transparently with relevant parties.
  • Waste management regulations are complied with.
