Kayın, incorporated in 2016, is an exploration, development and mining company focused its activities on discovery of metallic deposits in Central Turkey.
 

The Company currently holds 2 contiguous exploitation licences and owned 100% by İlbak Holding. 

Exploration activities remain on the licenses which are located in Akçakent town of Kırşehir province and cover an area of 16sq km. Drilling completed to date delivered some important results and intersected mineralised zones. After Pandemic sanctions lifted company resumed its activities with immediate effect and discovered some new anomalies in different portions of its licenses in 2022. Exploration activities to be continued as follow up field work, geophysical surveys, and drilling at best international practice with its experienced teams. 

There are many exploration companies working in Central Turkey however there is no major discovery named in this region. Ilbak Holding, through Kayın, is working with the aim of making significant discoveries to make difference with mind-set of being a mining company with suitable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly methods in consideration of creating most economical and social benefits to the region.
